Well, it's not the accurate numbers. Because it was estimated on aerial photography by USGS in 2017(Us Geological Survey). Aerial photography and remote sensing is not as accurate as in-person surveying in the field. And aerial photography is just a surface estimation. Or in other words, we can say that it's a sophomoric estimation. Its said by cosmic magazine that only the lithium mine worth about 1 trillion dollars. In the result, remote sensing is a good way of exploring new mines but it cannot allocate the exact amount of ores and minerals.  

Mining mapping and modelling is an insubstantial and classical method in Afghanistan. Due to 40 years consecutive war in Afghanistan the mining industry remained unevolved and many of them mined illegally. And in some areas gemstones like Lapis Lazuli and Emeralds smuggled illegally to Iran and Pakistan from many feudal areas that The Government of Afghanistan and MOMP couldn’t impede their illegal mining. Furthermore, the mining industry is unprofessional in Afghanistan and to develop this industry we need investments and funds. A country like Afghanistan will be unable to own and buy mining machineries. It will cost billions dollars to invest in machinery, but to break through this problem we need to bolster our business and political relations with other developed countries and request them to invest here and improve this industry. Afghanistan is one of the few countries in south Asia that its natural resources are abundant and we have plenty of Mines that are in dire need of Market. For Example, Lithium which is used in batteries can be very lucrative in international Markets for Afghanistan. For this we need huge amount of money to be invested. How to be a freelance and remote Mining Engineer? Mining is an ancient field started back in 3000Ad. So when you hear the word Mining and Geology you depict the site, working in mining machinery, blasting, drilling, driving trucks and a desert  but the truth is that every field is getting contemporary with the advance of technology. So here we recommend some Softwares that are widely used in Geologic and Geographic areas. A mining Engineer with a little Knowledge about Geotechnical Engineering,  Geodesy, and Survey Engineering can work in GIS fields.   Exploration of Mines In Afghanistan From 1960 to 1993 many Geologist from soviet union, France and Germany researched and explored   many mines across Afghanistan. They designed the geological map of Afghanistan and they also trained many geologist across the country. But due to civil war there research and exploration remained incomplete. And during civil war gemstones were a good source for warlords to smuggle. In a documentary by a French Journalist depicts that some warlords smuggled Emeralds to French and these warlords created a big crack for the economy of Afghanistan. We have more than 1400 minerals deposits that worth more than trillion dollars. We are a poor nation but at the same time lied over a 1400 treasure-trove minerals.
